November being a health awareness month, Automated Systems Company in cooperation with Al Salam hospital, conducted routine general health procedures for their employees. The routine procedure includes: blood pressure tests and blood sugar test. We strive to keep our employees safe and healthy.

In collaboration with Bentley Systems & Pitman Training Center, Automated Systems Company joined a virtual webinar about BIM (building Information Modeling). The main purpose of this webinar was to raise awareness about the true understanding of the BIM concept, in addition to its history along with BIM standards and how can it be implemented in our region and specifically Kuwait. Several speakers participated from Pitman and Bentley to share their knowledge and experience in BIM concept and what are the applications needed to attain it.

As a part of the States of Kuwait efforts to evacuate its citizens stranded abroad, several locations at T4, and Al Jazeera passenger terminals at Kuwait international Airport, have been allocated to receive the returning citizens and conduct the necessary medical examination for them. Kuwait Airways request Automated Systems Company incorporation with Kuwait Airways, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Interior and the General Administration of Civil Aviation to prepare one of the sites with computer networks and a set of laptops, computers, printers, and surveillance cameras. As a of social responsibility towards the nation.

As a part of ASC’S responsibilities towards the environment and the community, Automated Systems Company collaborated with (Snyar) the Environmental Voluntary Foundation by supporting the installation of a number of 8 maritime locks around the coral reef area on the island of (Qaruah),Kuwait.

Automated Systems participated in Kuwait Tech Expo 2020 on Feb 6-9. The exhibition is the largest technology event in Kuwait and the only one to combine both B2B & B2C market sectors. It gave us the opportunity to showcase our products and services, as well as explore business opportunities and discover latest industry trends.

On 24th -28th of November 2019, Five of ASC employees participated in Civil Defence Measures training, held at the General Administration of Civil Defense theatre in Al Zahra. Four days training was conducted to ensure safety regulations and evacuation plans, fire safety and field training, and emergency medical procedures. ASC main objective is to guarantee employee’s safety.

For the second year on the row, ASC participated in the third annual career fair of the public authority for applied education and training (PAAET). The event was held under the patronage and attendance of PAAET director, Dr. Ali AL-Mudhaf. The aim of participating in the event is to attract the national talents and help them develop their skills and capabilities as per the international standards. A specialized team represented ASC at the event to provide the required information about the company’s business nature and employment process. ASC continuous support to career fair’s held in universities and learning institutions nationwide is part of the company’s keenness in offering job opportunities to students, especially in the information technology sector which is considered as one of the most vital and dynamic fields in the Kuwaiti market.

In coordination with Bentley Systems , ASC conducted 3 workshops during the infrastructure conference hosted by Kuwait University and the Kuwait society of engineering on the 23rd & 24th April . The workshop attendees learned the latest technology on reality modeling by transforming point cloud and drone pictures into a smart 3D model which was demonstrated by Vision international Moreover Eng.Anwar Alsuraij conducted a workshop on the latest version of STAAD advanced concrete which showed the attendees how to do save time and efforts doing automatic detailing and concrete redesign.

ASC in cooperation with the Hydraulics and Hydrology team from Bentley conducted a workshop on Stormwater, Water and Wastewater network design. Each day was dedicated for different organizations such as ministries, public authorities, engineering consultants and engineering contractors. Bentley products such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, WaterGEMs and SewerGEMs were used throughout the workshop.

ASC with Bentley Systems conducted a workshop on the latest update of STAAD.pro and its integration with SACD (STAAD Advanced Concrete) for both STAAD & Etabs users for 3 days. Each day was dedicated for different organizations that included ministries, public authorities, engineering consultants and engineering contractors. A great opportunity for all structural engineers to boost their structural design knowledge and get introduced to the latest technologies in the structural engineering field.

Bentley systems is organizing a one-day event dedicated to understanding the potential of Building Information Modeling (BIM) by Going Digital. Participants will see how they can build digital competency and capabilities with Bentley solutions, service and guidance. They will also learn how 3D digital engineering models created during the planning and design phases can provide the interactive 3D environment for longer-term operations and asset performance

The conference is globally recognized as the leading forum for addressing the current priorities and opportunities impacting the infrastructure industry.

In coordination with KEO consultants ASC conducted a 3 days training for Public Authority of Housing and Welfare on Bentley Sewer design software , The attendees learned how to design the Sewer network and the basic concept of Hydraulics design .
